Rabbi,
I hope you and all of Aleph Institute had a Shana Tova, and a Happy and Healthy New Year! I am currently deployed on the USS HIGGINS (DDG 76) in the Mediterranean. After leaving San Diego, CA, we made stops in Hawaii, Guam, Singapore, Haifa, and Split, Croatia. Haifa and Jerusalem were, of course, the highlight of the deployment so far. I celebrated Rosh Hashanah with one other on the ship while at sea and was in port Split, Croatia for Yom Kippur.
Thank you and your staff as well as your gracious donors for the High Holiday supplies. I did receive the prayer books, honey, Shofar, and calendars in time for the holidays but am still awaiting the Lulav for Sukkot. I am sure they will arrive in due time.
